TVS Group
The TVS group was established in 1911 by TVS Iyengar as a bus service in the city of Madurai, a pioneering venture in South India. The TVS group has underlined its presence in the Indian business world today with it’s commitment to quality, service, and reliability. The groups sustained growth justifies this philosophy. In over 80 years of its existence, TVS has visibly demonstrated the idea that it is not concerned with growth and profit alone, but it is aware of its social responsibilities to employees, customers, suppliers, and society at large. Lakshmi Vidyasangam (LVS) was founded by late TS Rajam, a former Chairman of TVS & Sons. It is a non-profitable organization. The main objective of the Society is to impart mass education to boys and girls without consideration to caste or creed to all walks of life. The Sangham has been serving the cause of education for well over 35 years now.
